As Swamp Thing continues his journey across space, he arrives at the plant world J586. The plant life here are already sentient, and Swamp Thing unknowingly merges with them. Green Lantern Medphyll of Sector 586 eventually finds a solution, sending Swamp Thing on his way.
Meanwhile, Adam Strange finally delivers his message from Swamp Thing to Abby, but her reaction is hysterical and of disbelief.
